baby on the way

You will remember the Hernon family from here, I am so exited to announce having another baby girl! We met up on Saturday for a maternity/family picture session and had a great time! It took a lot of singing and dancing to get Elle to smile and stay in front of the camera, but boy did we get a ton of great pics. Misty looks so beautiful right now and has the pregnancy glow. Can't wait to meet there new baby girl.

look who is one

My sweet niece Jayda turned one this weekend! I can't believe it has been a year since her birth! I am biased, but she is one of the cutest babies I have ever met and she has quite the personality. She loves to clap and dance, but takes a while to warm up! We did a cake smash with her which was adorable to watch as she was initially very reserved and then after about 10 minutes she decided to just dig in! I can't wait to see what she is like in another year!

2011 got started in the best way! I got to meet up with the Eddy family in Brighton on Sunday January 2nd and boy was it fun! We had 14 people to photograph, 3 different families, 4 kids, and so on......FUN! I love the challenge, and it was even more challenging since it was only 20 degrees and had recently snowed here. So luckily we had the Golf Club at Joanne's to fall back on and when we were warm enough to go outdoors, we had a gorgeous view for our scenery! I photographed Gail and Nick's family before, so that made it so easy and I was so happy to see them again. They used this session as a gift to Joanne for her 60th Birthday, which I thought was AWESOME! Can't wait to see these faces again in 2011!

This is one of my favorites! We could not get the grandkids to stand still long enough for a picture and with Cashton it started to become a game!

that's a wrap

Well, 2010 photoshoots have come to an end and I am super excited about what 2011 will bring. To finish off the year, I met up with the Goeglein family at Kay's home in Fort Collins for a fun photoshoot. I fell in love with her baby grand piano so we took several pictures there and throughout the home. Kay's son Evan is heading off to seminary school so this is likely the last year that they would all be together in Colorado for Christmas, so these pictures were special to her and her children. I also got to meet Stefan the newest grandchild for the first time. You will remember Travis and Jen's family from here, well, they recently added to their brood with the birth of Stephan nearly 6 weeks ago. We had an amazing time and it was a perfect way to end the year for my photography! Enjoy!

kohler family

The day after Christmas I was able to meet up with three wonderful families to end out my photo sessions of 2010. One of those families was the Kohler family. They had the rare opportunity to all be together for the holidays and took advantage of it by getting some family pictures done. When you look at these you will find that they were a lot of fun to photograph and you will also see a sweet little boy named Christian who I couldn't help but fall in love with! Enjoy!

2010 what a year!

Wow, what a year 2010 has been for my photography! I never in my wildest dreams imagined that this simple hobby would take flight into what it has! There is nothing comparable to knowing that your friends and family love your work and pass your name on to others, there is nothing better than meeting babies on the day of their birth and photographing them through their milestons, and lastly, this time of year reminds me how much I love to photograph people as nearly all of the Christmas Cards delivered to me have my pictures on them!

Here is a look back at this year in photos! I am not finished yet, I still have a few more sessions in 2010, but this was already getting so long that I felt like it was time to get it posted! So as it may be early, please enjoy it! I tried to get all of my clients on the video, for this would not even exist if it were not for my clients! Thank you for such an amazing year, I look forward to capturing your families again next year!

sweet family

I had a lot of fun with this family. It was a last minute shoot before they left to Kansas for the holiday and unfortunately it was too cold outside to get pictures, so we moved it indoors and the kids played in the basement while we got as many shots and we could in between the fun! I can't wait to get some pictures when the weather is nicer and we can be outside!
