wolfe family

The Wolfe family came from Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit family and to have me take their family pictures!  We almost cancelled because of an evening thunderstorm, but we were lucky and it died down just as they made the one and half hour drive from Castle Rock to meet me at the Poudre River Trail.  We had a gorgeous night and got some great pictures of their family!  The whole family is just adorable!

Easton and Taylor joined me for a cousins session at the Poudre River Trail last Tuesday night.  Taylor is visiting from Texas and Grandma wanted the rare opportunity to get pictures done with the cousins together.  Easton wasn't too sure of the grass at the trail, but we solved that with a chair and the bridge and we got some adorable photos.

I love taking pictures of families and extended familes.  There is nothing better than when you can accomplish the fete of getting a whole group together for family pictures!  My good friends Jami and Barry came up to Colorado from Tuscon for a visit with family and they scheduled their pictures with me again this year, we added her sister's family to the mix, we got pictures of them with their mom and stepdad and toward the end the Benson family joined in since their whole family was in town visiting!  We got some great photos of the cousins together too!  We had a blast at the Poudre River and I think all the pictures show it!

alyssa is one!

Sweet Alyssa turned one last week and I can't believe it has been a year since I photographed her at just 6 weeks old.  Cute as a button and ready with smiles......until we handed her cake, then she really wasn't sure!  She still smashed it with grace!  Happy Birthday sweet girl!

I photographed Cliff and Alicia's wedding in Eaton last weekend and I was so enamoured with the details of the wedding.  Alicia created a small, initmate setting for her wedding at the old victorian home of her aunt.  Her decorations were adorable and her ideas for making it memorable were amazing!  Despite the 109 degree temperatures, without a cloud in sight, we got some amazing pictures of a beautiful couple vowing to spend the rest of their lives together and to combine their families into one!  Great day!
