my little brother is engaged!

I am so excited that my little brother is getting married!  Finally!  I have been waiting for so long for him to find the perfect someone to spend the rest of his life with and he has!  My brother moved to Chicago right after graduation and so we don't get to see him very often, but I was honored when he and his fiance Annette decided to come to Greeley to visit for a little over a week so that they could get their engagement pictures done by me.  We hit the fall color at its peak here in Greeley and we were able to get these pictures just before we were hit with 13 inches of heavy wet snow!  There were so many great pictures, I love them all, they tell a story of how happy they are!  I can't wait for September 2012 when they officially tie the knot!

lafehr/hein girls

My friend Lisa called and wanted to do family pictures with her husband and his children along with her and her children, unfortunately things didn't work out and everyone ended up with prior commitments.  Instead I got to see Lisa and her girls Alyssa and Brooke and we had a great time in a little tree cove in Fort Collins!  The girls have gotten so big and are not teens/tweens, which is crazy to me!  Time flies!

spielmann family

The photo shoot I look forward to every spring and fall, it's the Spielmann family again and every year their pictures are wonderful.  We met up at the DU campus again, on a beautiful fall day.  I love how their pictures tell a story of what a close and loving family they are.  The twin girls are very close and they adore their older brother.  This family has made me feel like part of their family and every time we have such a wonderful time!  It feels more like a visit then a photo shoot.  The kids are getting pretty comfortable with me now, so we took more action shots mainly because they were enjoying the chance to be silly with Ms. Kris, they turned out wonderful despite all the silliness!  There were really so many great ones that I had to narrow it down, but here is a sneak peek. 

peterson family

Every time I take pictures of the Peterson clan I have a great time.  Cindy stresses over it all, but it is really a fun time and we always get good ones!  We met at UNC and the kids just played this time and we took a ton of action pictures, so many that they have over 150 shots!  The kids are adorable and so fun to be around!  Hope you enjoy these!

long time

It has been a long time since I got to photograph this family!  The kids are all grown up now!  Mac and Riley were fun to photograph even if Riley was not sure about the whole smiling thing.  She tried really hard not to smile, but when we got mom and Todd on board with the chicken she couldn't help it!  The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners was GORGEOUS last week with fall color and it became the popular choice of most of my clients.  We had another beautiful evening in Colorado on Friday night and got some great pictures!
