Newborn babies make me smile! I get so excited when I get to photograph a baby! I did these pictures about 2 months ago when Mason was 12 days old. I have been holding onto them waiting for mom and dad to get there announcements out as not to ruin the surprise of their pictures.

a new walker in the family

Little Asher is walking now, mom and dad are going to have to LOOK OUT! They came to me for a quick mini shoot to get a couple of pics of Asher walking and of the 4 kids together. We did a collage to match one they had done a few years ago of Kobe and I am really happy with how it turned out! Great to see the Berg kids again!

zoe is 9 months old

I haven't got to see the Fortin kids for quite a while, and when dad called me and asked to do a photo shoot, I was shocked when he said they would be moving to the East Coast shortly after our shoot :( So sad, I have looked forward to photographing these two for a while now. Zoe was last in the studio last summer when she was only a newborn and Ace joined her then too. Saturday we got to do Zoe's 9 month pics and once again Ace joined along. We got some adorable shots, I am really going to miss these guys!

cake smash

Sophie turned 1 year old yesterday and she visited me this morning for a fun filled cake smash! She wasn't quite sure what to expect and she was a little tired, but she delicately picked at the cake, then eventually got into it! We also got some great 1 year old photos of her today too! Happy Birthday sweet Sophie, so glad I got to spend some of the day with you!

so hard

You would never know it from these pictures, but it is SO HARD to photograph your own kids!! Awkward smiles, constant fighting, not listening....WHOA!

I have been feeling like we need a picture update in our home and I am LOVING the downtown area I have found to take pictures at until it starts to green up, so I took advantage of a weekend without photo shoots to take pics of my own kids. Karson is quickly approaching 8, no longer a baby, totally into Justin Bieber, longer hair, "cool" shoes and hoodies. Kyndal is still my little camera loving princess. She will be 4 in May and is as girlie as it gets! Both of their smiles light up my day, when I can get a good one :)

Spring into Spring
