eight is enough

The Hamm family showed up in a car with the license plate reading "8isnuff"! Such a great license plate! The family is a blended family and they total eight, with six kids, all of which are boys except sweet Makenna! They all came ready to smile and follow my lead, such well behaved kids and such a fun family to photograph! From the oldest in Tyler straight down to the youngest sweet little Ryker! You can tell they have a lot of fun together and are one big happy family!

paige turns 1 and austin is almost 4

The Edelmon's came to visit me again! I always get excited to see this family! Austin is my little buddy and he lights me up when he says "Hi Ms. Kris." The kids are growing so fast, you will remember from here when Roxann was pregnant with her! She turned 1 this week, which is so exciting! She is a bundle of love and has the best baby rolls around! Austin initally had a tough photography day, but in the end we got some great shots! I love this family and am so excited to get the chance to watch them grow!

Busy little boys! They are so much fun, although things can be very chaotic with a little boy since they never stop moving, I am always excited to see what great photos I have gotten from a photoshoot. Cashton was no exception! He was a busy just turned 2 year old who wanted nothing to do with his picture taken despite him practicing all night with the word "cheese." Despite the activity we got some great photos at one of my seldom used spots, the Adam's County Fairgrounds. Isn't he adorable?

catey rose is one year old

Turning 1 is such a great milestone and a wonderful photo op, however, I get sad when the babies I take pictures of turn 1. It means that I will not see them as often and it reminds me how quickly time flies! Catey Rose is 1 year old already. She flew in from her home in San Diego to see Granddad and Nana for her birthday and spent some time with me too! I just love her red hair!

Alyssa came to me a little older than most newborns I photograph, she was born about 4-5 weeks ago. Being older she was not as sleepy and figured out what it meant when we took her away from mommy for pictures. Despite being a bit fussy, I think we got some cute pictures of her and we will tackle some more when she is older! I love meeting new families and this was one of those chances. olsen family

I met up with the Olsen family during magic hour on Wednesday night and we had a blast. I am not going to write much about it because the pictures tell it all. Skye was here from California visiting her dad and step mom, mom and I went to high school together, Sage is a typical 4 year old full of energy, and little Stella is adorable with gorgeous eyes. I had a hard time picking once again so this is supersized.
