New Prices

Business has been good and I now feel like I am a "professional" photographer. Given that I have had the business for 6 months and I am getting more business, I have chosen to raise my prices in order to be competitive with area family photographers. I have raised my CD cost to $75.00 which includes the photo session and the full resolution JPEG CD for you to use at your disgression. I can do prints for individuals at a cost per sheet price, the same as before. I still have $20 travel fee for shoots outside of the Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins areas. Thanks for your support and your business.

Valentine's Day Card

We are getting ready for Valentine's day here at the Chadwick household and I had to share the adorable card that I made for my daughter to give to her friends at daycare.

Home Studio

I finally got my home studio set up this weekend and I took a few test shots of the kiddos. They really turned out great so I am excited to start taking pictures of babies indoors. If you know anyone who would let me practice on them, refer them to me and I will give them a discount! Enjoy the shots.

Snow Pictures

Living in Colorado we are so lucky to have 4 seasons! We are even luckier to have fairly mild winters, with a good snow storm 1-2 times per month followed by a warm sunny day! In December we had some snow that stuck around just long enough for me to get some great shots of my kiddos as well as a really fun shoot of our friends from California. There daughter had not seen snow before (she is 15 months) so that was really fun! My daughter (19 months) really enjoyed it to, once she figured out that she would just eat it :) But the highlight of the snow allowed me to do an engagement shoot of a very cute couple right here in town, but with the snow and the backdrop it looks like we went to the mountains......so I leave you with some fun kid shots and my favorites from the engagement shoot. TFL!

Gingerbread House

So I was putting away the Christmas decorations and I saw the gingerbread house my kids made this year with their GG. It has been a yearly tradition to build a house with GG for the past 3 years, but this one was definitely my favorite. As I was admiring it, I decided it had to be photographed. So here it is.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to one and all.....one of my favorite holidays.....I am not sure why, but I like the idea of putting the past behind and looking toward the future. Well, as the holidays are coming to a close, I have repeatedly tried to get the perfect shot of my Christmas Tree. I love the colored lights on the tree, but have never been able to get the "warm glow" that many photographers rave of and master without difficulty. For some reason this perfect shot has alluded me until now. I didn't get a great shot of the full tree, but I did get a nice close up of the lights and feel like I captured that much sought after "warm glow". So as our family tradition goes, we will take our tree down this weekend, but I leave you with 'the shot' of my 2008 with hopefully many more for 2009! Happy New Year!
